Subject: IO networks (CANopen, Profibus, MODbus, etc...)
Hello all

Has anyone used CANopen, Profibus, MODbus or similar with the Kflop?

I would like to use one of these nice modules-

I am wondering if I can emulate one of the protocols over the JP5 connector or if there is something already there/in the works.

Thanks,

Hi Brad,

No we don't currently have such a thing.  Our intent was to use the RS232 port to do Modbus to PLC type I/O expansion.   One user created his own RS232 I/O modules that he maps to Virtual I/O bits.  The next Version will have expanded Virtual I/O bits for that purpose.
